Avoid this business like the plague!

We hired The Flooring Group's Islington branch to source and install engineered walnut flooring back in July 2017 in two bedrooms for a total cost of £6.5k. The experience can only be described as abysmal! Here are just some of the issues: installed wrong underlay and placed on-top of the carpet underlay to save time; cut the skirting boards at the incorrect height damaging them to the point they needed replaced; dented the walls; scratched the bed; installed scraped and dented boards; took months to address poor workmanship; ignored and then obfuscated when asked for basic information when a claim was issued; installed two different colours of floorboards from different product runs, factories, and countries leaving obvious different woods in the master bedroom and the smaller bedroom being a different colour than the master; installed different thresholds in the two rooms with some being damaged at point of installation and took over a year to settle the claim.
